League Notes:

Standard League Notes:

  • Format: This Men's Basketball League is played 5-on-5 on a full court
  • Game Length: All games will consist of two 23-minute run-time halves with a 2-minute half-time break
  • Gender Requirements: There are NO requirements for females. Females are welcome, but they should be prepared to play against mostly males
  • Length of Season: This Season is 8 weeks long (6 weeks of regular season)
  • Playoffs: Every team is guaranteed 2 weeks of playoffs, with the top 4 teams playing for the championship
  • Exclusion Dates: No games on August 3rd (Civic Holiday Long Weekend)
  • Skill Level: Teams are expected to be at a Intermediate skill level
  • Jerseys: Teams are required to provide their own team jerseys with numbers on both the front and back of the jerseys. Teams of Individuals will be provided with a jersey (set teams will not). Individuals who have a jersey from the past season can elect to use their previous jersey and pay $25 less (please contact us for details info@trsl.ca).   • Officials: Every game will be officiated by two experienced Basketball Refs, plus a time/scorekeeper

  • Equipment: There are no equipment requirements for this league. Game balls will be provided
  • Other: All registration fees are subject to HST. Your spot is not guaranteed until you have paid in full

Skill Level Breakdown:

  • Recreational: Players have very basic skills (Dribbling, Passing, Shooting). Some teams and players may be playing in an organized Basketball League for the first time
  • Intermediate: Players have good skills (Dribbling, Passing, Shooting). Most teams and players have played in an organized Basketball League before
  • Competitive: Players have very strong skills (Dribbling, Passing, Shooting). Many teams and players have had a fair amount of success playing in organized Basketball Leagues


There are no refunds after the registration deadline.
