League Notes:

This tournament is hosted by our sister club, The Average Joe Sports Club

  • Format: This Co-ed Softball Tournament is 3-Pitch (pitch to your own team) and is played with 9 fielders
  • Gender Requirements: Teams must have 3 males and 3 females on the field at all times
  • Number of Games: Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games (most likely 4-5)
  • Game Length: Games will be 5 innings with a 1-hour time limit
  • Skill Level: Teams are expected to be at a Recreational/Intermediate skill level
  • Officials: Every game will be monitored and umpired by a league representative, but teams should also be prepared to self-officiate their games, meaning players call their own fouls, outs, etc. League representatives are not certified/trained umpires.

  • Equipment: Bases and Balls will be provided, but teams will need to supply their own gloves and bats

Skill Level Breakdown:

  • Recreational: Most players will have basic skills, and some players may be playing Softball for the first time
  • Intermediate: Most players have good skills, and most players have played Softball at some level
  • Competitive: Most players have very good skills, and most have played at Softball at a high level

Average Joe Sports Club/Toronto Recreational Sports League reserves the right to switch players/teams into a different division based on numbers and skill levels.

This tournament is hosted by our sister club, The Average Joe Sports Club. All games will be played at McMaster University's Softball Diamonds located on the North West section of the McMaster Campus. (1280 Main Street West Hamilton, ON)
